New Images Today – Southern CA Beachfront

No, I am not yet in So Cal but just went through some of the images I had not yet worked on when I was there in January! .. So far behind in some of the image culling and processing which is the bad news.. The GOOD news is that there are LOTS of images that have not yet been worked on or published from many trips and many months! ! so don’t stop checking in on me!

Coastal_Sunset-6821 I caught the sunset north of Malibu and El Matador as I drove up the 1 to explore the beach front. The rocks here with the cormorants were amazing as I softened the water with a slow shutter speed. This image is composited which is something I normally do not do a lot of. I combined two images to get the effect you see here. The colors and the lines in the waves were what drew my attention to the peice but the shorebird is what gives strength to the composition.
